The atmosphere is spooky and not only because of the bird ghosts. 
You did an amazing job with the poses; they are natural but still strong-looking and they make the whole picture airier. In addition, the characters look lively and serious. I can imagine them fighting someone in some kind of old castle, dungeon or something. I like the way how the cape is drawn. It's surrounding the character like a shield.
